Rockjewel tries the impossible: capturing the beauty of Chanel Taboo. And fails...

You know the feeling... You have tried to take photos of a stunning nail polish, but no matter what light you use, or which angle you make your hand pose in, it is still impossible to capture the beauty.
Chanel Taboo is one of these polishes that is really difficult to capture the beauty of. OK, a part of me thinks that this polish is a tiny bit hyped-up, but it still is a very beatiful polish that I am happy to own and use.
And that is probably the reason why I chose to publish this inspite of my suboptimal photos. I am convinced that with a more skilled photograph, and some better equipment, it is possible to get much better photos. I suggest that you google for better swatches, you can definitely find them out there :-)

The formula is a bit "gooey" but manageable. If applied richly it can be a one-coater. I used two coats. It is a deep eggplant purple with blurple shiny flecks in the depth.

  1. Det är vackert, men har sett fler som säger att det är svårt att fånga skönheten på bild tyvärr.
